Through the use of highly advanced crypto-phones ESD, a company that provides the US government with these phones, found 17 bogus cellphone towers. These towers were found to connect to nearby phones bypassing their encryption and possibly tapping calls or reading texts. Something else is more frightening, one of these fake towers were erected by a military base. It is unclear and under investigation who owns these towers. The intensions of the tower owner/owners are unknown, one thing is certain; it’s probably not the NSA, because they can do these things from a push of a button.
I would like to point out the CryptoPhone 500 that was used to detect what normal phones couldn’t. Why do normal phones have something close to half of its security features? It is clearly possible, and in the form factor that consumers demand. The phone looks like a Samsung Galaxy III.
